MyBigCareer attending What Career Live?

On 4 March 2017 Deborah Streatfield attended What Career Live? alongside three wonderful career advisers (Philip Rogerson, Vincent Pizzoni and Louise Kinsella) representing MyBigCareer at NEC, Birmingham. What Career Live? helps 15 – 19 year olds decide what to do when they finish school whether they follow the apprenticeship or university route. It attracts students, teachers, careers advisors and parents from a range of different backgrounds across the UK and gives them the opportunity to speak with top employers and universities as well as take part in a variety of skills, experiences and attend presentations.

Deborah delivered two presentations on Why University? one directed at students, the other at parents. Also the one-to-one careers advice proved to be a very popular session where MyBigCareer was able to offer excellent professional advice to students and parents most of whom had no support from their schools, waiting on a 55 min queue to speak to our advisers.

MyBigCareer has been invited to attend the next What Career Live? show at London Olympia on the 6th and 7th October 2017 delivering advice to school leavers on deciding what to do next, whether it’s an apprenticeship, training programme or heading to university after A Levels. Don’t miss the opportunity to speak to one of our advisers!
